Our Mission. The Diabetes Prevention and Control Program of Orange County is dedicated to promoting a decrease in complications of diabetes and the incidence of diabetes of Orange County residents. This is accomplished through the offering of educational programs and information on diabetes. Who we are. The Diabetes Prevention and Control Program of Orange County is a coalition comprised of area representatives from hospitals, federally qualified health centers and other groups involved in diabetes management in Orange County, New York. We are part of a larger coalition, the Mid-Hudson/Catskill Diabetes Coalition, which is funded by the New York State Diabetes Control Program of the Department of Health. We meet quarterly, with one of the four meetings being a conference call. What we do:
